morphological character:

Living type: arbor;

Strain: up to 25 m;  Stems: the canopy is widely spread, and old trees often have rusty brown air roots; Leaves: leaves are thin leathery, narrow oval, 4-8 cm in length, apex blunt pointed, basal wedge-shaped, all margin, insignificant veins, 3-10 pairs of lateral veins, obtuse angulation;   Flowers: Flos female1 gall flowers are derived from the same Ficus fruit with a few setae between flowers. Flos have interspersed inner walls with filaments and anthers that are equal in length. Females appear gall flowers with a perianth sheet of 3, broad ovoid shape;  Fruits: Ficus fruits are paired axillary or born into deciduous branch leaf axils, maturing yellow or reddish, oblate globular in shape, 6-8 mm in diameter, no gross stalk;

Country of origin: South and southwest China are distributed and commonly cultivated.  Foreign distribution: distribution in tropical Asia.
